The institute on a regular basis spends the international and domestic scientific conferences, coordinates scientific researches in the field of regional economy which are carried out in higher educational institutions and research establishments of Ukraine and is base establishment of Branch of economy and the right of Western centre of science NAS of Ukraine. The institute cooperates with many scientific institutes of the countries of the Europe.

At Institute the postgraduate study and doctoral studies functions and operates special an academic council on protection of dissertations on reception of a scientific doctor's degree from three specialities: business, management and marketing (08.06.02), a demography, economy of work, social economy and a policy (08.09.01), accommodation of productive forces and regional economy (08.10.01) (phone +380 032 70-70-68, 70-71-60).
